Prostration Position Signs Mbah Maridjan Khusnul Khatimah

JAKARTA - Mount Merapi key Interpreter Mbah Maridjan found dead at his home in the village of Bannerman Harjo, District Cangkringan, Sleman, in a prostrate position, on Tuesday, October 27 yesterday.
Mbah Maridjan killed along with dozens of others by the eruption of Mount Merapi. Chairman of the Mosque Takmir NU Institute KH Abdul Ghoni said Mbah Maridjan position when found as a sign Khusnul khatimah.
"We khusnudzon course, that position (prostration) not a good position. As a Muslim we can only pray, hope he dies in khatimah Khusnul conditions," he told the House Legal NU, Jakarta, Thursday (10/28/2010).
In view of Ghoni Kiai, the late Mbah Maridjan is a modest and pious figure. He almost never left the five prayers in congregation in a mosque near his home.
In performing its duties, Mbah Maridjan also include people who are responsible. "I've had time to meet him anytime day in Sleman," he said.(CRL)
